The idea came from the NIP, the Italian national pizza chef team in collaboration with Fabbri. The favorite Italian dish is now also available as a delicious dessert. It involves a plain pizza base topped with Fabbri gluten-free products such as Delipaste, amarena, Topping and gelato. The successful experiment started last September, and today pizza dessert can be enjoyed in 150 pizza restaurants throughout Italy.
The new dessert has been designed to be shared by at least four people. It is served in the middle of the table with delicious ingredients such as amarena, chocolate, mint, strawberry, or even pistachio, kiwi, zabaione and chocolate-hazelnut. But just using these ingredients is not enough. In order to get a diploma as an official Pizza Dessert Chef, you need to attend a 4-hour training course with NIP, sponsored by Fabbri. The courses are free and take place all over Italy.
