Walnut and Amarena biscuits


300 g ground walnuts

250 g icing sugar

2 g salt

300 g egg yolks

100 g milk

200 g Acacia honey 

125 g butter

300 g flour

250 g egg white

150 g cane sugar

150 g caster sugar

540 g Fabbri Amarenas

Walnut and Amarena biscuits


Mix the first 5 ingredients together in a food processor, and then add the honey and butter. Beat the egg white with the sugars and fold delicately into the mixture, alternating with spoonfuls of flour. Put the mixture onto a 40cm x 60cm 1000g baking tray and add the Fabbri Amarenas. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 190°C for 8 – 10 minutes.
