100 g peeled almonds 

800 g caster sugar

200 g orange rind

50 g honey

350 g egg white

1 pinch of vanillin

Fabbri Amarenas as required


20 - 60 minutes

Blend the first 4 ingredients together. Add the egg white and put the mixture into a piping bag. Squeeze out the Lion’s Mouths and put a Fabbri Amarena inside each one. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 220°C for 7 minutes.
