Light chocolate and amarena egg-free cake

180 g 00 flour 

20 g potato starch 

165 g sugar 

70 g unsweetened cocoa powder 

2 spoonfuls of seed oil 

1 and 1/2 teaspoons of cinnamon powder grated orange rind c.

150 ml milk 

1/2 sachet of baking powder (8g) 

2 apples diced 

250 g Fabbri Amarenas

In a large bowl, mix the sifted flour, potato starch, sifted cocoa powder, sugar and baking powder together. Make a well in the center and pour in the oil, cinnamon powder, vinegar, grated orange rind and milk. Stir well until the mixture is smooth. Add the diced apples, a few spoonfuls of amarenas with their syrup and stir well. Grease and flour a square cake tin and pour in the mixture. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°C for about 40 minutes.  When the cake has cooled, cut it into little squares and sprinkle with icing sugar and some Fabbri amarenas, and then it’s ready to serve to your guests.
