Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie, and then add the butter and stir well. Leave to cool for a while. Beat the eggs with the sugar, sift in the flour and stir. Fold the egg and flour mixture into the chocolate and butter mixture, and then add the drainedamarenas. Pour the mixture into a rectangular cake tin covered with greaseproof paper and bake in a pre-heated oven at 200°C for about 30 minutes. When it is ready, leave to cool and then cut into squares. Drizzle with a bit of amarena syrup, and scatter a few amarenas on top if you wish. I also added a few meringues for decoration.
