Soak the bread in the milk and then beat the mixture to make it as uniform as possible. Then add the egg, cocoa powder, finely chopped hazelnuts and sugar. (I only added a little bit of sugar, as I don’t have a very sweet tooth, but you could add up to 100g). Put the mixture in a greased and floured cake tin (I also tried making 4 little cakes as an alternative to one big one), cover with Amarenas and bake for 50 – 60 minutes at 180°C. Decorate with Amarena syrup and icing sugar.
