In a bowl of your electric mixer cream butter and 3/4 cup sugar. Stir in eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Pour in the mix of heavy cream and Greek yogurt and mix well. Combine flour, salt and baking powder and slowly add the mixture to the batter mixing well until you get a nice smooth texture.
Open your jar of Amarena Fabbri and add about 1 cup to the batter. Stir gently.
In a separate bowl combine the remaining 2 tbsp. of sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice. Peel and slice up the apple very thin and coat the slices into the juice mixture. Heavily butter a baking dish and pour in the batter. Spread it evenly.
Arrange the apple slices on top of the batter in overlapping rows, pressing slightly into the batter.
Bake at 180 C for about 45 min. Remove from the oven and let the cake cool down completely.
Sprinkle the surface with powdered sugar and serve.
