Put all the liquid ingredients (milk, eggs, melted butter and Amarena syrup) in a bowl and mix carefully. In another bowl, mix the flour, vanillin, sugar and baking powder and then sieve into the liquid mixture. Then stir well. If you want you can also add some chopped Amarenas to the mixture (cut either in half or into little pieces). Fill 12 cupcake cases with the mixture and bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes. Take the cupcakes out of the oven and leave to cool. In the meantime, whip the cream for the frosting. I just used cream to make it a bit lighter, but if you want you can make classic frosting using cream + fresh cream cheese + icing sugar. Use a piping bag with a star-shaped nozzle to decorate your cupcakes with white frosting and add color and flavor by drizzling some Amarena syrup on top of them with a teaspoon, as if it were a topping.
Decorate with a whole Amarena. And voilà, the Amarena cupcakes are ready! Enjoy!
