Ingredients

400 g flour

150 g sugar

100 g lard

2 eggs

1 sachet of baking powder (16g)

Grated lemon rind

Fabbri amarenas for the filling

Molds for pastry cases or paper cupcake cases

20 - 60 minutes

Method

Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl to form a smooth, soft dough. Put a little bit of dough in a mold (as the base), followed by 2 or 3 amarenas and another bit of dough until all the ingredients are finished. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°C for about 35 – 40 minutes until golden brown, leave to cool and dust with icing sugar.
