In a bowl of your electric mixer beat up eggs and sugar until light in color.
Add in the softened butter, cottage cheese, vanilla bean paste, zest of a whole lemon and buttermilk. Mix all ingredients together.

Add the banana, flour and baking powder to the batter. Mix until all ingredients are combined.
Next up measure about 2/3 cup of Amarena Fabbri. Chop them up and add them to the batter. Heavily grease a bread loaf pan and pour in the mixture.
Bake a 180 C for about 1 h or until a tooth stick comes out clean. Let the bread cool down completely on a wire rack.
