Biscuits with rolled oats and Amarena Fabbri

Ingredients

180 g rolled oats

130 g flour 

1 glass of Fabbri Amarena 

110 g butter 

65 g sugar

65 g brown sugar 

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon baking powder for desserts                

1 spoon vegetable oil

1 spoon flaxseed oil

Method

In a bowl, mix butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar until having a cream. Add eggs, one at a time, properly blending the mix while adding each egg. In another bowl, sift flour and add rolled oats and the baking powder for dessert. Slowly add the dried ingredients to the mixture of eggs and butter, pour one spoon of vegetable oil, vanilla extract and flaxseed oil. Properly blend all the mixture. Drain Amarena Fabbricherries from their syrup and cut them in half; therefore, add Amarena cherries to the mixture, carefully blending it. In the meantime, cover the oven plate with wax paper.

Shape the mixture into balls of the size of chestnuts and cook them in pre heated oven (180°) for about 10-12 min. Leave completely cooling down biscuitsbefore conserving them in a tinplate box.
