Amarena, Apricot and Oat Smoothie

Ingredients

1 glass of cold milk (or low fat yogurt+ cold milk)

1 large spoonful of Fabbri Amarenas

1 spoonful of oats

2 ripe apricots

Method

Flavor & health. This is my personal definition of smoothies... when summer arrives, they are the perfect (healthy) alternative to a classic breakfast. You can combine fruit and yogurt, milk, rice milk, or just fruit… and naturally for something special, Amarena Fabbri. In this version I’ve combined Fabbri amarenas, and apricots, which are full of minerals and beta carotene, making them perfect for breakfast before a day at the beach. And I’ve also added oats, which are full of fiber and a great source of potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, calcium and iron. Put all the ingredients in the blender: the milk, apricots cut into little pieces, Amarena Fabbri and oats. Blend for a few minutes.  Serve immediately, and decorate the glasses with two or three amarenas.

P.S. If you want your smoothie to be slightly sweeter, add a teaspoon of honey to the mixture.
